» Feature Writer Jodie Martin - What do you think about climate change?

In response to What do you think about climate change? posted by sunrae138:
I think humans have definitely affected our changing environment. We need to be thinking globally and changing our habits when it comes to our use of electricity, cars, water, recycling... so many things we can do to alleviate the impact humans are having.

I read some UN reports on climate change and I think it gave a good example of how different countries will be able to cope with climate change. While Swiss ski resorts are investing in snow-making machines to adapt to climate change, women and children in the Horn of Africa are 'adapting' by walking further and further (up to 5 hours a day) just to find safe water. Countries in the Horn of Africa have had the smallest carbon footprints and yet they are the first to feel the effects of global warming.
